'Veronica Mars' Star Jason Dohring Joins 'Ringer'

Welcome back to TV (and our hearts), Logan Echolls. According to EW, 'Veronica Mars' star Jason Dohring has booked a recurring role on The CW's Sarah Michell Gellar-fronted 'Ringer.' Dohring will play Mr. Carpenter, a high school teacher to Juliet (Zoey Deutch), the stepdaughter to Gellar's Siobhan character. In the CW drama, Gellar plays a set of twins, Siobhan and Bridget. Bridget is recovering addict trying to get her life back together and Siobhan seemingly has it all. Seemingly being the key word. After 'Veronica Mars,' Dohring starred in 'Moonlight' and made guest appearances on 'Lie to Me,' 'CSI' and 'Party Down.'

Bones Exclusive: Veronica Mars Star Puts Booth in the Line of Fire

Former Veronica Mars actress Tina Majorino will guest-star in an upcoming episode of Bones, has learned exclusively. Majorino will play Special Agent Genny Shaw, who, as we previously reported, will assist Booth (David Boreanaz) in his search for vigilante sniper Jacob Broadsky (Arnold Vosloo). Agent Shaw's inexperience, however, will quickly become apparent when her cover is blown by Broadsky during a stakeout. Ultimately, her mistake will put both her and Booth in Broadsky's crosshairs...

Bell 'campaigns for Veronica Mars film'

Kristen Bell has revealed that she is still hoping that there will be a Veronica Mars movie. Bell, who played the lead role in the show, explained that she is trying to convince Warner Bros. to take on the film. "I wish I had news," she told E! Online. "Still in the process of campaigning to tell Warner Bros. that people would actually see it. "I think that as long as you guys keep asking those questions and I keep answering them, Warner Bros. will one day get the picture that everybody does want it and that it will make its money back." She added: "I think, truthfully, they're a company and they want to know that they'll make their return back. We just have to convince them that they will." The show's creator Rob Thomas said earlier this month that the project is "not dead". Source: I know I'm still hoping...

VERONICA MARS Creator Rob Thomas Says Movie Is Still Alive

Reports of the death of the Veronica Mars movie have been greatly exaggerated says show creator Rob Thomas. After its cancellation in 2007, fans have been clamoring to see a new mystery for the sardonic detective (played by Kristen Bell) to solve. A film version was believed to be dead after Bell said there was a script but Thomas denied it. Thomas has now clarified the situation to EW and says there was a treatment that he took to Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver, but the studio said there wasn't enough awareness of the property to give a greenlight. However, Thomas says he's still looking for a way to make the movie. To Read More Click Here .

Movie may not be happening

A interview with Kirsten Bell here's the full link : Question: Your lack of reporting on the Veronica Mars movie has me feeling like it’s DOA. Any news on it? — Andrew Ausiello: Yep, but it ain’t good. At last weekend’s Saturn Awards, Kristen Bell told us, “I don’t think it will ever happen, and here’s why: [Series creator] Rob Thomas and I had a powwow, and we were both 100 percent on board. We took our proposal to Warner Bros. and Joel Silver told us that there is no enthusiasm [there] to make a Veronica Mars movie, and that is unfortunately a roadblock we cannot compete with.” But — like the rest of us, I suspect — she isn’t giving up hope. “Maybe if we bombard them with letters?” she suggests. “Maybe [then] they will change their tune.” What are you waiting for, a written invitation from Veronica Mars herself? Start bombarding Warner Bros. with letters!

Spoilers on Veronica Mars, House, Heroes, Lost and more

Veronica Mars I'm so sorry everybody -it seems the VM movie is dead and gone already. Last week Kristen Bell told EW: "I don't think it will ever happen, and here's why: [Series creator] Rob Thomas and I had a powwow, and we were both 100 percent on board. We took our proposal to Warner Bros. and Joel Silver told us that there is no enthusiasm [there] to make a Veronica Mars movie, and that is unfortunately a roadblock we cannot compete with." The Big Bang Theory "Wolowitz" aka Simon Helberg teases, "We are still on summer vacation -- we go back August 5 -- and I have not seen the first script," he admits, "I just saw Jim Parsons (Sheldon) , and he certainly did let on that he knew something. I just assume they will pick up right where we left off in terms of the North Pole… Maybe we needed to eat Sheldon to survive." All kidding aside, what would the actor like to see happen this season? "It'd be interesting to see [Wolowitz] try to move out [of his mother's basement]. I would also like him to meet his father, and I would like his father to be Ringo Starr. How cool would it be if Wolowitz is the son of a Beatle? [Besides] I would actually like pants I can breathe in and an operational fly so I don't have to pull down my pants to my ankles every time I need to pee." Scrubs The speculations that our favourite Gilmore Girls Lauren Graham would join the staff at the new school of Scrubs are sadly not going to happen either. House Is our House going to be different when he gets out of the psych-ward? Not if Robert Sean Leonard has anything to say: "It would be like Quincy suddenly getting nice and loving examining dead bodies. There are certain things that are just givens about the show, and one is the general makeup of House’s attitude and personality. He may stop hallucinating but he’d never stop being sarcastic." Adds series creator David Shore: "It depends on how we define better. That is the question. How sick is he? Does House want to get better? Can he get better? And how much better? And how much will the team be told and how will the dynamic shift with House away? Those are the questions we are going to deal with in the first bunch of episodes, and perhaps even the whole season to a certain extent." Heroes Yup, Claire is going hot'n'heavy next season on Heroes. The person in question is the collage room-mate Rachel Melvin's new character, Annie. As a result rumours have been spreading that Hayden Panettiere tried to get out of her contract; "I love my job and I love where I am," she maintains. "Heroes has been such a massive part of my life. I've been doing it for four years, and at times you get restless; I think anyone would in any job. But I love what I do. I love my job. I love my cast members. They're all my family. I don't pay attention to rumors like that. That's why they're called rumors. 'Cause they're rumors." Lost May's series finale is going to be a real downer, predicts Michael Emerson. "I don't think Lost will have a happy ending," he confessed at the Saturn Awards. "It's the end and I think we are going to start seeing more casualties. I would put money on major characters being killed. I believe it will be a sad ending to the show -- or at least bittersweet. I think it will definitely be a series finale for grown-ups." Emerson, meanwhile, is still trying to make sense of the season 5 finale. (Join the club!) "I killed Jacob... maybe...probably," he hedged. "It isn't like we haven't seen plenty of other people be killed and somehow come back. And what does it mean if I did kill him? Who the hell was he anyway? Obviously, Ben wanted a father. So much of our show is about bad fathers. It is one of our biggest themes. And Jacob disappointed in thos
