Such a shame. This show was brilliant, but can't say that I'm surprised. Had a bad feeling about this one.

Seems as if I have been waiting forever to see how they all do in the bunker and no nothing!??!
I either have really bad taste in shows or critics and rates need to change some how?

Oh, man! This show was fantastic! Apparently the network thought it would work better as a mini-series with the apocalypse being the end, but I was expecting the story to continue, there was still so much potential, I wanted to see the characters deal with each other in the bunker and then what happens when they emerge from it. So disappointed!

This is such a huge shame! I got very invested very quickly and the idea of no further seasons is so sad!

Seems any shows which show any sign of intelligence get cancelled.
Cannot be because it cost too much to film because they are in a bunker now!

Ah man, I loved this! But how is everyone surprised? It ended without any loose ends. I mean, it was the apocalypse after all!

oh well...I disagree! That was still plenty to work on! Especially on that "divine" angle, who knows what could have happened!

How is this show cancelled? it was so great with such an awesomely diverse cast and characters! Got into show late, but I was stuck from the first ep. Why do my emotions have to be toyed with like this? I was really looking forward to a next season. We didn't even get to see more of Jamie's godliness. Bummer

@jazeron Apocalypse could've just meant the end of the world as we know it or the end of human civilization. The way the character arcs were told and through the backstories that came to light and the unfinished business between many characters, I had the feeling the show was building up to something. I thought we would see those stories resolved. Guess I thought wrong :(

@Chuck_Finley, I totally understand your point, as we've seen life after 'the apocalypse' go on in many shows. I was alluding to the fact that there was no hope for anyone (one person in particular) outside of the bunker. And without him, the show felt very concluded to me. Would I like to see how life is going to continue in the bunker? For sure! And is the little girl the 'savior'? Who knows! But I treated this like any AHS season, it completed its task, brought us on a hell of a ride, and left a little up to our imagination. Mission accomplished!

I loved this show and i absolutely hate it's cancellation.

FRom a natural point of view nothing could follow. Such a rock hitting earth... no bunker will save you.

If you put on the religious thing... welll it could go on. Religious nonsense had beeing providing interesting and unbelivable stories to western culture since so long ago!

I stopped watching after Rob Lowe's character was killed off, he made the show in my opinion. So i'm definitely not surprised.

No wonder the show got cancelled, british humor rarely works in US but was clever show. For once sorry to see Rob Lowe die especially suicide and girl nun was great. Jenna F was great also in a real departure from usual, like previous comments was hoping at least for second season but knew better. Kind of show if you give it a chance you get hooked. Maybe Netflix/hulu??

All while I was watching it, I thought that one season was perfect for the story. Then I saw the last episode....I can't agree that there are no loose ends, it's full of loose ends! I think everyone had one.

However, unless some by some miracle Jamie was saved, I wouldn't want to see what happens. Ariel was despicable, Jamie was the kind of person a whole new world would need. I was hoping, if Ariel had to be saved, that they'd both end up in there. I also had the feeling that Layla knew it was Ariel there at the end, somehow.
