'Under the Dome': Julia's 'shocking' reaction to Maxine and a season finale tease

"Under the Dome" is about to start the last one-third of its first season, with the final episodes airing over the next five weeks. Next week's episode, titled "The Fourth Hand," sees the introduction of a heretofore unseen dome resident named Maxine, played by Natalie Zea ("The Following," "Justified"). The episode description tells us that Maxine is a mutual acquaintance of Big Jim and Barbie and her relationship to Barbie is there on the show already -- if you know where to look, executive producer Neal Baer tells Zap2it."I would say if you go back to the first episode of the season and rewatch it, you may put together the pieces. It's all there, you just have to look for it," says Baer. We posit a theory to him off the top of our head and he laughs and says, "You're so smart. Yes, you're correct."But we aren't telling what it is! You'll have to... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/08/under-the-dome-julias-shocking-reaction-to-maxine-and-a-season-finale-tease.html

Under the Dome has become Lost, and guess what? I love it.

I think it was probably last week when Under the Dome turned into Lost — right around when Nerd Boy Joe and Goth Girl Norrie found the Cadbury Creme Egg of Doom in its own mini dome. It was also right around that point that I realized the show was starting to become my new crack.  Read More...   http://feeds.gawker.com/~r/io9/full/~3/YTKouxurUCc/under-the-dome-has-become-lost-and-guess-what-i-love-1131908558

'Under the Dome': The monarch will be crowned

On the latest episode of "Under the Dome," there's a shoot-out over Ollie Dinsmore's well and Julia keeps investigating the cause of the dome, thanks to Joe and Norrie's discovery. The DomeJoe mentions the "egg" to Julia and she demands to be taken there, like the intrepid reporter she is. When they arrive, the egg is glowing pink (it seemed to "come alive" when Joe was drawing a picture of it) and when Julia touches the dome, she sees another Joe, who says, "The monarch will be crowned."What does that mean? Well, the show is diverging wildly from the book at this point, so honestly, it's anybody's guess. Who do you think the monarch is? Big Jim? Joe? Angie? Somebody else entirely? The TownThere's not a lot of food left, so the only course of action is to grow crops, but Ollie's monopoly on the well -- and his band of farmer thugs -- is problematic.... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/08/under-the-dome-the-monarch-will-be-crowned.html

Under the Dome: Big Jim's Life Is About to Implode!

As de facto leader of Chester's Mill, Big Jim Rennie ( Dean Norris ) has had a lot on his plate since the dome descended on  Under the Dome .
