Tony Hale to Reunite with Will Arnett on Up All Night

Up All Night is planning an Arrested Development reunion. TV Guide confirms that Tony Hale will guest star on an upcoming episode of the NBC sitcom, appearing opposite Will Arnett as Dr. Welborn, Reagan's very flirtatious dentist. Look for Hale to appear on the October 25 episode titled "Ma'am'd."

'Up All Night' adds Mary Elizabeth Ellis to the family, plus Blythe Danner returns

The "Up All Night" family is growing: An episode set for October will introduce us to Scott's (Luka Jones) ex-wife.She'll be played by the very funny Mary Elizabeth Ellis of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," Zap2it has learned. She's scheduled for the Oct. 18 episode. Season 2 of the NBC comedy will also bring Blythe Danner back as Scott and Reagan's (Christina Applegate) condescending mother -- and we'll get to go back in time once again to see her at Chris (Will Arnett) and Reagan's wedding. No date has been set for Danner's appearance.Ellis has become something of a go-to guest star lately. TV ratings: 'The X Factor' leads Thursday as 'The Office' and NBC's comedies start slowly

Fast National ratings for Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012FOX scored a ratings win Thursday night with "The X Factor" and "Glee," while NBC's comedy lineup got off to a pretty soft start. "The Office" came in below its season finale in May, and "Up All Night" got trounced by a "Big Bang Theory" rerun on CBS.FOX delivered 8.6 million viewers and a 5.2 rating/8 share in households to lead Thursday's race. CBS (7.4 million, 4.9/8) was a solid second despite airing a full repeat lineup. NBC (4.04 million, 2.7/4) managed to edge ABC (3.98 million, 2.6/4) for third place. The CW scored 1.3 million viewers and a 0.9/1, although those numbers are somewhat inflated because of an NFL pre-emption in New York.In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX's 3.1 rating was more than a point better than second-place CBS' 1.8.
