Former Senator Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) has accepted the call to serve as Vice President of the United States. The job is nothing like she imagined and everything she was warned about. A show that took everything right about it's spiritual predecessor, The Thick of It, and tightened it up. Focussing on the political savvy (or lack thereof) of the Vice President and her team and their ability to stumble into just about every fuck-up imaginable. A stellar performance from Julia Louis-Dreyfus and an extremely harmonious supporting cast bring this show together perfectly.

Strongly honest about its political criticism and mockery of political corrected-ness, Veep is a great show for House of Cards fans looking for some laughs.

One of the funniest shows ive watched, and ive watched a lot of shows. The characters are great together. It remind me of 30 rock and parks and rec along with the office. just fantastic.

great combination of stupid mistake, weird people, incompetency all wrapped up in malaise. Great comedy, can't stop laughing.

Season 4 starts off with a Bang. Hysterical. In tears the whole episode.

Veep is still the best comedy on air. There truly is no other show like it.

I have to wonder if the show still maintains its humor in other languages, because it really uses the full extent of the English language to bring forth its humor.

The best way to describe this show is to call it 'clever in a funny way'. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is fantastic, and the rest of the cast don't let her down. Also, importantly, both the episodes and seasons seem to be the perfect length; not too long to overplay the jokes, but long enough to keep you wanting more.
