True blood was so entertaining, with its look into the political underbelly at vampire politics, the way that they showcase several different supernatural species, and small town life/afterlife. The show is full of shockers. It's focus on independent story lines is what kept me coming back, my fave is Sookie, she is so determined and never gives up, a great character. I would not recommend watching unless your ready for a lot of gore and nudity ;)
