TV ratings: 'The Voice' rises again and leads NBC to Monday win

Fast National ratings for Monday, April 15, 2013"The Voice" reached a season high in Monday's ratings, scoring its best numbers since March 2012 -- at least for now. The night's totals are subject to revision as some local affiliates carried news coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings throughout the evening.Elsewhere Monday, "Dancing With the Stars" improved a little over last week as well. CBS' comedies and FOX's "Bones" were on the low side, although "The Following" stayed fairly steady. The season premiere of "Oh Sit" drew an audience comparable to that of "The Carrie Diaries" for The CW, and "90210" returned to typically low numbers.NBC averaged 12.5 million viewers and a 7.4 rating/11 share in households for the night, edging ABC (12.4 million, 8.0/12) to claim the lead. TV ratings: 'The Bachelor' finale rises and gives ABC a Monday win

Fast National ratings for Monday, March 11, 2013The finale of "The Bachelor" and the "After the Final Rose" reunion show gave ABC an across-the-board ratings win Monday. The finale improved on last year's conclusion and scored the network's best Monday ratings among adults 18-49 since September 2011.Also Tuesday, "The Following" was off a little from last week but still finished second in its hour in both viewers and adults 18-49. "The Biggest Loser" dropped on NBC, but "Deception" improved slightly on last week's ratings. ABC easily led the night with 10.3 million viewers and a 6.7 rating/10 share in households. FOX (6.42 million, 4.0/6) edged CBS (6.37 million, 4.2/7) for second place. NBC took fourth with 4.8 million viewers and a 3.1/5. '90210' star Trevor Donovan moves on to 'Melissa and Joey'

On Thursday afternoon, The CW announced that "90210" has been canceled and will air its series finale this May after five seasons on the air. Before the ink was even dry on that press release, though, ABC Family wasted no time in promptly snatching up series star Trevor Donovan for a significant guest role on their hit comedy "Melissa and Joey."Zap2it has learned exclusively that Donovan will star as Austin, a childhood friend of Mel (Melissa Joan Hart) who moves back to town. As her former next-door-neighbor, the two share a warm, bantering relationship that's easily reignited when he comes back into her life.
