‘Baby Steps’ Anime Cast Grows Again

With the nature of a sports series like this one, it’s no surprise that the second season of  Baby Steps  has additional casting news that will hit regularly as new players are gone up against. We learned last month that Megumi Han was taking on the role of Marcia O’Brien while Hiroshi Kamiya will be playing Alex O’Brien. Now word has come down that Takuya Eguchi will be playing Atsushi while Natsuki Hanae is coming on as Krishna Ramesh. The NHK official series site revealed a few weeks ago that the series will run for the same amount as the first one, coming in at twenty-five episodes. ‘Baby Steps’ Anime Episode count Set As New Actors Sign On

After getting the date firmed up earlier this week for the second season of  Baby Steps , now some new casting information has arrive. The series will be adding two new actors to its cast with Megumi Han taking on the role of Marcia O’Brien while Hiroshi Kamiya will be playing Alex O’Brien. ‘Baby Steps’ Second Anime Season Gets Premiere Date

Announced at the end of the 25th episode of the first season, a little more has been revealed about the second season of  Baby Steps . The show was announced for a spring 2015 broadcast debut but has largely been quiet since then. now NHK has updated with new information that the show will debut on April 5th, 2015. No episode count is set yet but it’s likely to be another twenty-five episode run as there’s over thirty volumes of manga to work off of. ‘Baby Steps’ Anime Getting Second Series

Announced at the end of the 25th episode of the first season that ended this morning,  Baby Steps revealed that there will be a second season coming in the spring of 2015! The series is a sports manga adaptation that’s from the manga by Hikaru Katsuki that debuted for the spring 2014 season. NHK produced it  for their E-Tele channel with Kenji Saito handling it. The series is one that like many sports shows just aren’t heard all that much about for North American fans, but the title began back in 2007 and has shipped thirty-two volumes so far. Pony Canyon Sets Japanese ‘Baby Steps’ Anime DVD Release Schedule

Scheduled for a twenty-five episode run, Pony Canyon has set the home video release for  Baby Steps  and some fans will be disappointed. The series is getting a seven volume release, but it will be DVD only. The show will begin its run on August 20th, 2014 with new volumes following monthly. The first three volumes are each priced at 4,104 yen while the remaining four volumes are priced at 5,815 each. No extras or first press materials have been announced for the release yet. Crunchyroll Adds ‘Baby Steps’ For Spring 2014 Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll is ensuring there’s a few sports shows on this season now that  Kuroko’s Basketball  has left the stage and one of those that will be there is  Baby Steps . The series is set to debut on April 6th at 6am ET for premium members while free members can catch it a week later. The series has a pretty good bit of availability to it as it will be open to viewers in the  USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America (Central and South America including Caribbean), UK, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, and Turkey.
