When Iron miner Greff is attacked by a Troll, beowulf goes into the forest with Breca and soon discovers that the trolls have been deprived of the salt that is usually fed to them to keep them placid. Meanwhile, tensions spill over after Slean overhears and misunderstands a conversation between Beowulf and Elvina.
