Bleach 366 [Final]: The end of an era

This was the last episode of Bleach, I never thought I would say that one day, I was not expecting this show to end this soon, but I am glad it does. It has been 366 episodes already, but there was so many fillers in there that were ruining things, I am glad that I won’t have to endure those anymore, but let us go back on topic, the final episode of Bleach. I was not expecting the fight with Ginjo to end this quickly, I was expecting something a little closer in term of strength. The intro had not even played yet and Ginjo was lying dead on the ground. Even with all the power he had stolen and with his hollow power, Ginjo was still nothing close to a match for Ichigo in Bankai form. I don’t think Ichigo had a single scratch after that fight against the strongest member of Xcution and the original substitute soul reaper. When you think of how Byakuya had trouble fighting Ginjo’s right hand, it gives you an idea of how invincible and powerful Ichigo has become, even after his 2 years of break after he defeated Aizen. Bleach 365: Ginjo X Ichigo

A lot of boring talks happened this episode, it was nice to finally understand the function of the combat pass, but we still don’t have a complete answer as to its purpose. We know it is to monitor and control Ichigo, not to let him loses and out of control with his incredible power, but there must have been a deeper reason and meaning to it all, and I figure we’ll learn that part when Ichigo will meet with Ukitake once again. We also learned that Ginjo traded power with everyone from Xcution, it doesn’t seem to have helped him much in the end. After all, the members of Xcution, except for Tsukishima, were disappointingly weak. They were all easily defeated by the captains and lieutenant, but Ichigo has power well beyond any of the captains. Fortunately Ginjo was able to obtain the power of Ichigo before their battle, otherwise this would have been a boring match up. Now Ginjo is technically stronger than Ichigo, but I wonder if it is truly the case, I have a feeling that Ichigo is holding back something. READ MORE...

Bleach 364: Xcution Falls

Tsukishima sure got cocky in this one, He had such a great advantage against Byakuya but he still managed to mess up when trying to show off. Both of them were certain that they were in a battle that they were fully prepared for and in which nothing unexpected or unpredictable could possibly happen. Turn out they were both wrong. In the end I think I liked Tsukishima more than I like Byakuya, it was a selfish prick for another selfish prick after all, but If I have to choose between the power to implement oneself in the past of people and things or having an army of flower petals, I think one of them sounds more manly and awesome than the other. Bleach 363: Cleaning the trash

In the span of a single episode we already so many of Xcution defeated, not that it was unexpected. I always felt like the member of Xcution’s power were quite lackluster compared to the strength of the 13 court guard squads. But what was most impressive about those fight was to see how much everyone improved. We didn’t see much about Kenpachi, Toshiro or Byakuya, since after all, they are captain and their opponent were simply not worthy of their strength. I’m not sure that Ichigo will actually need Ishida’s help one bit to defeat Ginjo. READ MORE...

Bleach 362: Time to be a Badass

In other news, I feel like Ichigo could have won even if he had to fight against all of them at once, even when using the back of his sword without bankai, Xcution barely avoided Ichigo’s attack. I feel that if Kurosaki decides to uses his Bankai he will rip to shred every single one of them. I don’t know if his hollow power have come back at the same time his shinigami power came back, but that would make him so terrifyingly powerful. If Ichigo is able to obtain his Fullbring power, his shinigami power and his hollow power, I feel like nothing will be able to stop him for a little while. At the very least, he will be able to clear the skies from the clouds on bad days, he will never have to carry an umbrella anymore. READ MORE...

Bleach 361: Revival

Finally, after waiting so long Ichigo has finally regained his power, I don’t know if it is because of the training to develop his fullbring or if he simply regained too much spiritual pressure at once, but he sure packs a punch now. With a single sword swing he was able to deal more damage than he did with his fullbring. It seems like he still has the strength he used to back before he used his final getsuga tensho and that strength is simply unbelievable. When he used his getsuga tensho at the end he cut down the house in two and he cleared the whole sky. I hope he regained his spiritual pressure completely and that he’s able to detect other spiritual pressure well, because he could have easily killed his whole family with his little show off move, they were in that mansion after all. But a better point might be that, unless the other Xcution member actually knew what they were doing, they are now completely vaporized. To be honest I highly doubt that any of them died, not without a fight at least, but it would be a little anti-climatic to see them all die so easily. READ MORE...

Bleach 360: Betrayal

This is exactly what I always hoped would happen, Ginjo was the real enemy all along. He used Tsukishima to become someone friendly, this way he would be able to fool Ichigo and manipulate him even better. I always found fishy that everyone at Xcution would want to lose their power, while Jackie looked to really hate her power, everyone else didn’t seem to complain too much, in fact they all seemed to love their power. The characters make way more sense now. READ MORE...

Bleach 359: Surprise Party with Friends and Family

I don’t feel like we actually learned much this episode. Everyone still likes Tsukishima, maybe Ichigo now realize to which extend they do, but for the viewers this is nothing new or unexpected. The only thing that was fun to watch this episode was Ichigo’s Fullbring in action, but even that, we were not able to witness any significant battle just yet, things are just starting to heat up. But I somehow doubt that any major battle will occur now, since there is no way Ichigo can go all out while fighting right over his sisters and friends head. He cannot destroy the whole manor down, he needs to be at least a little careful about managing his destructive power. Even worse, now he’ll have to fight against Chad and Inoue too, Ichigo might very well be able to win against the trio of Chad, Inoue and Tsukishima, but since he would never mortally wound Chad and Inoue, he is in a tight spot. Bleach 358: Detective Ishida and the New Found Cousin

This episode Ishida is putting his detective hat on and his pipe and he scrolled through town looking for clues to see just what the hell has been going on while he was knocked out cold. I was having so much fun looking around with Ishida, I could hear him tell me "Do you see any clues?" and then I would point my computer screen and scream "Yes over there Ishida, A clue, A clue, I see a Clue !". I felt like I was a real detective with him, I really want to help him find out the criminal behind everything, I hope it is not a super villain in a monster disguise. READ MORE...

Bleach 357: Tsukishima the friendly guy

Chad is so much more powerful than before, he is amazing. I remember him to always give his all to fight even when he was not powerful, but this time around his power seems to have increased tremendously. While his el diablo attack seem to be weaker than what I remembered, he still packed quite a punch . It was surprising to see Inoue and Chad fight so well together, also for what I believe would be the second time since the beginning of bleach, Inoue was about to use her Koten Zanshun power. I wanted to see just how powerful that could have been, I don’t even remember if it had any power or not. But that girl used to be such a whiny bitch that I would never imagined she would ever use that power again. She still looks very weak, but at least now she’s trying, which is already ten times better than what she used to do. READ MORE...
