Blindspot Recap 2/2/18: Season 3 Episode 12 “Two Legendary Chums”

Avery had needed to be debriefed on tonight’s all-new episode of "Blindspot" because there were still some questioned that needed to be answered. Like how did she meet her uncle? Avery had said that her father, as in the man that raised her, had killed himself while back after he had gotten fired from a big corporate job and with her adoptive mother also having predeceased her – she thought she should look for her biological parents. She explained that Roman had found her while she was looking for Jane and that he had told her that Jane wasn’t worth the effort. He told her that rather than looking for Jane that she should be getting revenge for the man responsible for her father’s suicide. That being his old boss Hank Crawford. Not Crawford’s name has come up more than once at the FBI. The team had found out that he had had a connection to every one of their new tattoos and that Roman has been trying to direct them to Crawford for the longest time, but this latest information and the fact that it had come from Avery had made everyone doubtful about her story. She had been telling the truth about both her adoptive parents died and that her father did work for Crawford at HIC as an advisor so the problem they were having with her story was the part where she claimed she wanted revenge. Avery had plenty of reasons to lie to them. READ MORE...

Blindspot Recap 1/26/18: Season 3 Episode 11 “Technology Wizards”

Jane met someone when she was on the run. He had been in the same field as her what with rescuing kidnapped parties in return for large rewards and the two had had one night that Jane regretted the next morning. But Jane had reached out to him when she learned she had a daughter. She thought she could still find Avery at that point and so she turned to a friend she believed could devote his entire time to finding her daughter, but when she found out that Avery was dead and the circumstances of her death, she still went to that friend for comfort. Jane visited him after the last mission and they had a couple of beers that night that didn’t progress any further. Clem Hawn had still been interested in Jane and he would have happily become more if she hadn’t still been in love with Weller. But Clem had put all that aside when Jane called him for help and he had still tried to be a friend when she thought her daughter had died. So that fact that was no longer true didn’t change their relationship. They were still good friends and Jane wanted his help the moment she found out Avery was alive. Avery it seems had faked her own death with Roman and the man that Weller thought he was hunting, however, something must have changed in the agreement with either one of them or both of them because she was later kidnapped for real. Blindspot Winter Premiere Recap 1/12/18: Season 3 Episode 9 “Hot Burning Flames”

Hirst had claimed the man she worked for was powerful and doesn’t like to lose, but that could have been anyone on tonight’s all-new episode and so Patterson decided to work backward from their cases. Their cases had all been about uncovering secrets and therefore Patterson had every reason to believe that was either a tattoo or several tattoos that could connect to their mystery man. But while Patterson was doing that, the rest of the team was wondering where were Weller and Jane. The couple was never late for work and for some reason they were both MIA as the team was cracking a huge mystery. They eventually learned that the mystery man they were looking for was Hank Crawford. Crawford was a billionaire that was connected to several tattoos and he also had a dubious connection to Hirst. Hirst had been recommended for the US Attorney position because of Crawford and Crawford happened to fund the SuperPAC that was funding Hirst’s nomination. That is right before she decided to go the FBI route. But what was left of the team did more than just uncover Hirst’s patron. They also found out that a new tattoo connected to an activist group called Blue Dawn and so they dogged a little further into the organization if it could even be called that. READ MORE...

Blindspot Recap 12/15/17: Season 3 Episode 7 “Fix My Present Havoc”

Hirst was dirty. That was the something the whole team was finally in agreement on and so tonight came the hard part – they then had to prove it! But the last person that came even close to figuring it out had been Stuart and he had gotten killed. So the team believed Hirst must have been behind his death and have tried picking up from where he left off. Stuart had been investigating the Vincent Van Gogh self-portrait, however, there had been nothing hidden in the images and the team didn’t know how they could connect it with Hirst. But Roman decided to do them another favor. He sent them a package full of baby blocks and it hadn’t been for Bethany. It had actually been another clue and it had been for the moment they realized they needed to take Hirst down. So Roman had somehow found out about their secret investigation and was helping them through his clue had led them to a clinical trial and no one had known why that was so important. There hadn’t been a connection between anyone involved with the trial and Van Gogh much less someone with VG for initials. READ MORE...

Blindspot Season 3 Episode 7 Review: Fix My Present Havoc

On Blindspot Season 3 Episode 7 our favorite team rallies together to solve the tattoo that got Stuart killed and we find out just how dark and twisted Hirst really is. If confirmation that Hirst was dirty caught you by surprise on Blindpsot Season 3 Episode 6 , you were in for a rude awakening this hour. It's certainly within the realm of believability that a director of the FBI could be prone to manipulation and blackmail, but the ease with which Hirst turned to violence was shocking: slitting Stuart's throat without the blink of an eye.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/12/blindspot-season-3-episode-7-review-fix-my-present-havoc/

Blindspot Recap 12/8/17: Season 3 Episode 6 “Adoring Suspect”

Roman needed a favor. He wanted the team to investigate one of the newer tattoos and he needed them to do so sooner rather than later. But Roman knew he couldn’t just call them and tell them about the tattoo because they would try to figure out what was his end game. So Roman decided to use Weller to deliver his message and Weller wasn’t in a position to turn him down. He had found out about Jane’s daughter long before anyone else on the team and so he it was too late for him to tell his wife that he had known about her daughter because he knew she wouldn’t forgive him. And so Roman blackmailed Weller into doing his bidding. Weller would do anything to keep Jane. But finding a way to connect a tattoo with overrated actor Keith Rhodes was perhaps a new low for him. Weller had pretended he had seen something in an article about Rhodes at the dentist’s office and fortunately Patterson had bought it. She had done a search on Sacred Lynx Production because its logo had supposedly been what triggered Weller’s memory and so she had been surprised when his hunch panned out. The production company’s logo had been a tattoo and it was connected to an Eastern European terrorist group called Brigada. READ MORE...

Blindspot Recap 12/1/17: Season 3 Episode 5 “This Profound Legacy”

Patterson checked everything out. However, the birth certificate was real and that meant Jane had a daughter out there somewhere though Jane herself had a hard time accepting that. She hadn’t wanted to believe that she could give birth and not remember it because the person she was now wouldn’t have forgotten something like that so easily. So Jane had tried to find some means of further verifying the evidence and unfortunately she kept hitting a brick wall. She couldn’t take a test that would determine whether or not she gave birth and the one person that was there when she gave birth had coincidentally died five years ago. Though Patterson tested everything and she said that none of it had been a forgery. So Patterson believed there was a child out there that was part Jane, but they had no way of finding her and everyone could see how much the news was affecting Jane. Jane had thought she finally figured out who she was and this revelation just proved how wrong she had been about herself. READ MORE...

Blindspot Season 3 Episode 6 Review: Adoring Suspect

On Blindspot Season 3 Episode 6 the team takes down a major weapons trafficker and terrorist mastermind with the help of a local movie star and his biggest fangirl: Rich Dotcom. Episodes of Blindspot that feature the charismatic buffoon Rich Dotcom are my absolute favorite. Whenever he's on screen, you can be sure that there's going to be some quality one-liners and huge comic relief. This hour was particularly fun as the team had to enter the world of Hollywood movie-making in order to solve their tattoo case. Besides being extremely meta to watch and ironic to see our favorite actors claim they weren't made for the big screen, it was also exciting to watch them run around a set.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/12/blindspot-season-3-episode-6-review-adoring-suspect/

Blindspot Season 3 Episode 5 Review: This Profound Legacy

On Blindspot Season 3 Episode 5 Jane faces the reality of having a child, Patterson and Zapata team up, and more than one major secret is revealed! It was certainly fitting that the case of the week revolved around a bloodline and a teenager's connection to his parents, as Jane struggled with the news of her daughter's existence. Watching the amount of pain that Jane was suffering for how she had forgotten her own child and the blame that she put on herself was truly heartbreaking.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/12/blindspot-season-3-episode-5-review-this-profound-legacy/
