Elizabeth continues to try and deal with the the situation involving Mulligan on her won but it soon becomes obvious that it has spiralled out of control. Angela ends up giving into her feelings for Otto but before anything happens between them, Elizabeth and Thomas show up at the hospital giving Angela a humiliating reminder that he is married.
