Registering for the club, Kotori gets acquainted with the others. Enough members now, Ryota amends they should start an astronomical observation tomorrow. Neko subconsciously breaks a table when Kazumi flirts with Ryota. He learns from Kazumi that Neko loses part of her memories whenever she uses her magic meaning why she can't remember any of her childhood. Tonight going on a hike to the mountains, Neko remarks that she understands the constellation in the sky. Ryota discovers Kotori's harness; at that moment, Kana forecasts Neko's death again believing Kotori involve. Confronting Kotori being a witch the others revealing themselves having Kotori totally surprise. She displays her magic as teleportation, switches with Ryota, unsure if Kotori intends to kill them or not. Going back to stargazing, not excited at first, but as they see the moon and Saturn's rings through a telescope things go to a nice change of pace. Later tomorrow, they are contacted by another fellow witch, Shino, who being chased by Kikako hunting them down near a lake where the forecast takes place. Neko goes to help Shino despite Ryota's rebuff with Kotori following her. Arriving at the lake, Kikako fires her cannon magic thus killing Shino.
