'Castle' Season 5 finale: Are Rick and Kate about to break up?

This is not going to be a happy article for the many Caskett shippers out there. There is a chance -- possibly even a good chance -- that the happy relationship of Rick and Kate on "Castle" will come to an end in Monday's Season 5 finale.Sorry.This is definitely what the show has been promoting as a possibility. We have seen foreshadowing of Beckett's (Stana Katic) relationship concerns -- and the lack of concern from Castle (Nathan Fillion). There's that exciting new job possibility that she seems interested in. And every promo video for the finale, "Watershed," indicates that bad things are going to going to happen.Molly Quinn (Alexis) recently made those fears even worse during an interview with Zap2It about the finale. "Getting to watch Nathan and Stana do a couple of the scenes, it's so uncomfortable," Quinn teased ominously. "It's so uncomfortable and tension-filled. You kind of want to hide your eyes... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/castle-season-5-finale-are-rick-and-kate-about-to-break-up.html

'Castle' Recap: A New Job For Beckett?

This week on Castle,  things get very "rise of the machines" as Castle and Beckett investigate a drone strike in the middle of Manhattan. The case certainly brings out the inner conspiracy theorist in Castle (always just a scratch below the surface) as he develops an elaborate Skynet-esque theory. It's the singularity! The machines are sentient... and they have a plan! (Wait, wrong show.) Unfortunately for Castle there are no Cylons or Terminators in sight, only a complicated family dynamic turned deadly. The future of "Castle": Will Beckett choose love or her career in the Season 5 finale?

It's time for Beckett to make a choice. Job or love? This is always a tough one, and it's a testament to the brilliance of "Castle" that the answer is not obvious. But unlike lesser TV shows, this one truly will confront a difficult reality: What does the future hold?Right at the end of "The Human Factor," after Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) find the person responsible for killing a man with a drone strike, Detective Kate Beckett is asked to contemplate her future. After all, the audience is watching for an established story -- reaching any sort of ultimate goal in... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/the-future-of-castle-will-beckett-choose-love-or-her-career-in-the-season-5-finale.html
