It’s the last day of a week long food fight and five proud residents of Ottawa are ready to find out who is on coming out on top. Tonight, firecracker francophone Nicole Ducharme is ready to show why the French do it best. Joining her around the table are trophy wife Julie Goldblatt, competitive mean girl Jill Hache, meticulous manscaper Joshua Abrams and blue collar dad John Villeneuve. With everyone seated around the table Nicole plates and serves her appetizer of black olives stuffed with feta, cherry tomatoes and herbed olive oil with a fresh baguette. Hoping to wow her guests Nicole brings out her main course-chicken breast stuffed with brie and apples, twice-baked potatoes with chipotle and lime and bacon-wrapped asparagus. To cap off the night and a successful week Nicole serves her dessert to her awaiting guests-mock apple pie with fruit sorbet. Will this francophone create a winning menu? Or will her night be lost in translation?
