Elementary Recap 7/2/18: Season 6 Episode 10 “The Adventure of the Ersatz Sobekneferu”

Morland Holmes came to visit Sherlock on tonight’s all new episode of "Elementary". The older man wanted to see his sole remaining son because he only just learned that his other son Mycroft was dead. Morland it seems had relied on Mycroft outliving him. He thought his oldest son would be the one to give the eulogy at his funeral and Mycroft also happened to the sole heir to his entire estate, but with things being the way they are, Morland will have to make other arrangements and that’s why he wanted to speak to Sherlock. Sherlock also thought his brother would outlive them both and so he asked his father about his other "activities". READ MORE...

Elementary Season 6 Episode 10 Review: The Adventure of the Ersatz Sobekneferu

I'm in favor of any reason to get John Noble back on TV. That's why it was great that Sherlock's father Morland, played by Noble, came to visit on Elementary Season 6 Episode 10 . Walter Bishop on Fringe is my favorite of Noble's roles, but Morland is right up there. He does villains equally well. Morland hasn't been seen since Elementary Season 4 Episode 24 . That was when he took over the criminal network formerly run by Jamie Moriarty to protect Sherlock and Joan.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/07/elementary-season-6-episode-10-review-the-adventure-of-the-ersat/

Elementary Season 6 Episode 9 Review: Nobody Lives Forever

Well, I certainly didn't see that coming. I'm not referring to the case of the week on Elementary Season 6 Episode 9 . Nor am I talking about Sherlock's reunion with Alfredo, his former sponsor, and longtime irregular. No, I'm talking about the seeming death of Sherlock's brother Mycroft. Sure, Mycroft has faked his death before and gone into hiding.  ...Read... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/06/elementary-season-6-episode-9-review-nobody-lives-forever/

Elementary Season 6 Episode 8 Review: Sand Trap

Too bad things didn't work out for Joan. But Sherlock was back in fine form on Elementary Season 6 Episode 8 . Three months had elapsed since Sherlock left for a recovery vacation on Elementary Season 6 Episode 7 . For three months, Sherlock was locked away in a cabin and behaved himself. Well, except for that case involving a falsely accused black bear. I would have loved to have seen that case of the week. But, alas, that was not meant to be. I guess there's no location budget.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/06/elementary-season-6-episode-8-review-sand-trap/

Elementary Season 6 Episode 7 Review: Sober Companions

I feared that this Michael storyline was going to get settled way too quickly. But, no, it was just a preliminary skirmish on Elementary Season 6 Episode 7 . Michael's no Moriarty, but it's good for Sherlock to have a challenge, especially when he's handicapped by his post-concussion syndrome. Not that Sherlock's helping himself whatsoever on the healing front. Despite Joan continually reminding him that he needs to take care of himself, he doesn't.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/06/elementary-season-6-episode-7-review-sober-companions/

Elementary Season 6 Episode 6 Review: Give Me the Finger

It's hard to put my finger on what I liked best about Elementary Season 6 Episode 6 . Sorry. I couldn't resist. At the center of this case of the week was a unique brand of digital storage. Who knew there was a booming market for retired Yakuza seeking artificial fingers? When you start with a retired Yakuza as the victim of this case, there are so many directions that things could go.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/06/elementary-season-6-episode-6-review-give-me-the-finger/
