'Extreme Couponing': Save Coupons Over Kids In A Fire

While comparing the use of coupons to the use of drugs might seem like a stretch to most people, it makes a lot more sense after meeting Joyce on the latest installment of " Extreme Couponing " (Mon., 10 p.m. ET on TLC). Joyce certainly seemed to display the behavioral traits of an addict. She just chose coupons over drugs. She talked about the euphoria when the paper arrives with the new coupons, the fact that she doesn't sleep for three days before a big shopping trip, and the incredible rush of using those coupons. All of this, with a manic and non-stop stream of words. But perhaps most telling -- and hopefully more tongue in cheek than reality -- Joyce said that if their house were to catch fire, she'd fight to save the coupons, and leave the kids to fend for themselves. But what about that glorious stockpile? Who would save all those boxes and cans of food and other products? Catch new episodes of "Extreme Couponing" every Monday at 10 p.m. ET on TLC. TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser. //feeds.huffingtonpost.com/~r/HP/Entertainment/~3/XJ1zrELYQHs/extreme-couponing-fire-save-coupons-over-kids-video_n_1570031.html
