Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 10 Review: “Red or Black”

What a great season of  Franklin & Bash   this has been. I’m glad that this season, with so much change, has held true to the spirit of the show and proved to still be so much fun! This week, Peter and Jared were called into action to save Stanton from a sticky situation in Vegas. First of all, I just have to say how much I love the relationship between Stanton and the boys. Stanton’s own nephew works for the firm, but he called Peter and Jared when he was in trouble. So you can imagine their shock when they arrive and Stanton predicts his own death in 48 hours. Of course, this threw Peter and Jared for a loop, and sent them after him to Las Vegas, where their new best friend Dan Mundy got them into some trouble of their own. Franklin & Bash 4.09 Review: “Spirits in the Material World”

After one heck of a season,  Franklin & Bash   has finally reached the penultimate episode of the season. This is the latest into the year that F & B has ever run, and they took full advantage of their October air-time with a Halloween-ish episode. The boys are investigating a claim in which a couple was sold a haunted house. I’d like to tell you that Jared and Peter aren’t scared of anything but…that’s not the case. But it was funny! Tonight we celebrated the return of Judge Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) as the boys battled their old law clerk friend (Danielle Panabaker) in the courtroom. It was tough to battle their friend on a case, but of course the boys are resilient in their tactics, and (nearly) always prevail. In this case, it actually helped that they were friendly with their opponent. Who knew?! Read more... //www.tvovermind.com/reviews/franklin-bash-4-09-review-spirits-material-world-242527

Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 10 Review: Red or Black

All roads led to Vegas on  Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 10  as one couple got back together, another fizzled out before they'd begun, and Infeld may have found the end of his road.  Infeld Stanton believed he was going to die but he'd forgotten his cufflinks. Or was he really hoping the boys would find a way to detour his destiny? Either way, Stanton summoned Peter and Jared to Vegas on a mysterious mission to bring him his briefcase. Did he need the $150,000 in cash or the passports? No. He'd forgotten his cufflinks and he wanted to make sure he was buried in them.    Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/10/franklin-and-bash-season-4-episode-10-review-red-or-black/

Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 9 Review: Spirits in the Material World

I wanted to like  Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 9 . I really did. It sounded like the perfect case for Peter and Jared involving a haunted house and real estate fraud but it never actually delivered on its premise.  Peter was terrified of ghosts while Jared was intrigued and Dan was simply weird. The Parkers claimed that they'd had multiple strange occurrences in the old home they'd hoped to renovate into a working hotel. The walls being painted strange colors while all the doors were locked. Strange noises and odd smells that eventually drove even their contractors away.   Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/10/franklin-and-bash-season-4-episode-9-review-spirits-in-the-mater/

Franklin & Bash Season 4 Review “Spirits in the Material World” – Ghost Hunt

In this episode of  Franklin & Bash , called “Spirits in the Material World,” the boys take on a case that may or may not involve a haunted house, while Karp helps Anita face an old foe. How much fun was it to see Peter and Jared on a case where they had to go on a real, live ghost hunt? I thought it was hilarious that Peter and Jared turned into hunters when the latest episode of  Supernatural  mentioned this show. I can’t help but to have thoughts of a crossover in my head. I think Jared, Peter, Sam and Dean would make for the best episode of TV, like, ever.   Read More... //www.tvequals.com/2014/10/16/franklin-bash-season-4-review-spirits-material-world-ghost-hunt/

Franklin & Bash 4.08 Review: “Falcon’s Nest”

We’re only a few episodes away from the end of our fourth “summer” with  Franklin & Bash ,  and it’s been just as fun as the rest of the season and series. While last week’s guest-star ridden ride was a highlight of the season, this week’s follow up was an excellent complement to the spirit they’ve put forth all season long. This week, Jared and Peter returned to the nursing home scene to defend their old friend  Danny Dubois as he was being evicted from the senior community after his grandmother’s passing. In a tilt-a-whirl of legal stunts, they end up getting Danny adopted by another resident, “Falcon” (played by Barry Bostwick), and getting all their residents to stand up to the evil board president. Including Pindar’s internet ex-girlfriend, Nanette. Read more... //www.tvovermind.com/reviews/franklin-bash-4-08-review-falcons-nest-241409

Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 8 Review: Falcon's Nest

They say age is just a number and on  Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 8 , those numbers turned out to be surprising. Like how Jared and Peter took a mental age quiz and were scored as age 13…combined.  Well, I guess that really isn't all that surprising. But as they fought the system that said 36 year old Danny couldn't remain in the age restricted complex that he called home after his grandmother died, it became clear that age had little to do with maturity or lifestyle.    Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/10/franklin-and-bash-season-4-episode-8-review-falcons-nest/

Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 7 Review: Honor Thy Mother

The first words that popped into my head at the start of  Franklin & Bash Season 4 Episode 7  were,  Oh no he didn't?!?   But yes, he did.  I know Jared and Colleen were kissing at the end of last week's episode but I didn't really expect to see them do the deed…well, not they we actually  saw  them do it, but we got the picture of the morning after pretty clearly.    Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/09/franklin-and-bash-season-4-episode-7-review-honor-thy-mother/

Franklin & Bash Season 4 Review “Falcon’s Nest” – The Golden Boys

In this episode of  Franklin & Bash , called “Falcon’s Nest,” the boys help a friend try and stay in a retirement community, while Anita makes some friends around the firm. I thought it was extremely appropriate that Jared and Peter helped a friend keep his residence in a retirement community. Danny was a young man with an old soul and they are forever young. It was the perfect combination to win the case. Of course, as always, they made things a little worse before they got better, but I’ve learned to sit back and observe those moments to see what happens next. I figure the boys aren’t anywhere near closing a case until everything has blown up in their faces.
