Grey's Gets a Shrink

A new doctor will be coming to Seattle Grace when Grey's Anatomy returns on April 24th and she will be in the form of a psychiatrist. Amy Madigan (Carnivale, Gone Baby Gone) has signed on for a recurring role in the series to play the part. While presumably she will be there to help out the patients, I'm hoping that she can help Meredith (and some of the others, but mainly Meredith) solve some of her many issues... Source: Zap2it

Shonda Rhimes Talks About Grey's

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Shonda Rhimes revealed that she found some clarity during the strike and has decided that, "My goal is to get Meredith [Ellen Pompeo] and Derek [Patrick Dempsey] together for good and let them try to figure out what it is to be in a relationship in the future". Joshua Jackson Guest Starring Arc is Off

Earlier in the year, it had been reported that Joshua Jackson (better known as Pacey Witter to some) was slated to guest star on Grey's Anatomy. Then the strike happened. Now, it looks like the appearance is off, because Jackson has since been cast in the upcoming JJ Abrams pilot, Fringe, and will be too busy. Source: BuddyTV
