Father and son butt heads when Mike believes that he, as an 18 year old college student, deserves more freedom than Jason allows him. The argument leads to Mike moving out of the house and living in his cramped car. After many failed attempts at getting the other to cave, they finally reach an agreement in which Mike will move into the room above the garage, where he will have more privacy and freedom, but must pay rent to his parents.
