" Mohai : "  Offering The delayed broadcasting of a Halloween themed episode of any show to the week after the holiday has the potential of being just like that officer worker who shows up in a Santa hat in January; awkward and not sure what you say to them.  Thankfully, Hawaii Five-0 learned from last year’s less than stellar Halloween offering and wrote an episode that took place around Halloween, but was did not use the holiday itself as a scary point. Hawaii Five-0 Season 3 Review “Mohai” – One Awesome Mini Horror Movie

In this episode of  Hawaii Five-0 , called "Mohai" (Hawaiian for "Offering"), we got another extra day of Halloween as the team searched for a killer in an episode that felt more like a mini horror movie . I have to say that I really enjoyed this episode a lot. At first I thought that they were going to try and water down the story and make it look like something worse than it was. Such as, make it look like a crazy psycho killer was murdering people for ritualistic purposes, but then it would turn out to be something else. But this really was a psycho killer murdering people for ritualistic purposes. The one twist they did give us is that the super creepy basement of horror was below a nice old lady’s house – an old lady who wasn’t all that nice after all.
