'House' and 'Terra Nova' still awaiting word on their fates

Back at last summer's TV critics press tour, FOX Entertainment president Kevin Reilly said he'd likely make a decision in the fall about whether this season would be the last one for "House."It was also widely assumed that FOX would have made a call on "Terra Nova" by now, since options on most of the actors expired at the end of December and the digital effects-heavy production would need to ramp up soon to deliver a second season in the fall.Neither of those things has happened yet. Reilly joked Sunday (Jan. 8) at the current edition of the press tour that "we've done a good job of avoiding some of these big decisions until after the session."With "House," Reilly says he and creator David Shore agreed to hold off on talks until after the new year. "We're talking, obviously, as we go. We haven't had the big meeting about what do we want to do,"... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/01/house-and-terra-nova-still-awaiting-word-on-their-fates.html

House to Return with Turtle Racing, Hot Sex and Undead Patients

He has no heartbeat. He's not breathing. How can he not be dead? It's a good question, and it's one that will be answered on January 23, when House finally returns after a two-month hiatus. The winter premiere will be titled "Better Half" - ironic, some viewers might say, considering the disappointing opening set of season seven episodes - and feature a patient who, as the quote above details, ought to be deceased. It will also give us a deeper look into Foreman's new relationship, along with a turtle race. Really. 'House' Season 9: Could it happen? Hugh Laurie weighs in

Now in its eighth season, "House" is still successful as far as ratings go, though critics and fans have certainly wavered on the show's quality standing up to previous seasons. Normally, we'd say that it's a shoo-in for renewal come May, but this year, the fate of "House" is a bit of a toss-up.Why? Hugh Laurie's contract is up this spring, and if he chooses not to continue on with the show, it will, obviously, be axed. You can't have "House" without House. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Laurie admits that he's still undecided about a potential Season 9. "Too soon to say. We're still wetting our fingers and sticking them up in the air to see which way the wind's blowing. There are lots of things to be taken into account," he says.If he does sign on for Season 9, he thinks there's a good shot at Season 10, too. "It may very... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/12/house-season-9-could-it-happen-hugh-laurie-weighs-in.html

Dr.  House  will reunite with his wife in an upcoming episode of " House M.D. ". Karolina Wydra is set to return to the FOX series as Dominica, whom the brilliant doctor married in season 7 so that she could get a green card, on a potentially recurring basis.  According to  TVLine , when Dominica first re-appears in the 13th episode of this season, it will be clear that House is still hitched to her although she has not been seen since the show returned this fall. "You can't just marry for a green card and expect to never see each other again," executive producer Greg Yaitanes gushes about the two's status.  Read More... //www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00045894.html

Wilson Tries to Trap House While Searching for Guns on 'House' (VIDEO)

A patient with a massive stockpile of guns lead to a fun cat-and-mouse between House and Wilson on 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET On FOX). Wilson was convinced/concerned that House had a gun, which would be a clear violation of his parole, while House insisted he did not. The ensuing traps and pranks throughout the episode were very inventive, as when Wilson finally succeeded in trapping House. Even though House gave props to his friend in that moment, Wilson ultimately didn't find the truth ... though we think a lot of that had to do with Wilson not wanting to find out the truth. //www.aoltv.com/2011/11/29/wilson-tries-to-trap-house-searching-for-guns-house-video/

'House' Tackles the Dead and the Disturbed in Two Bizarre Cases (VIDEO)

FOX promised us a surprise twist we would not see coming on this week's 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET on FOX) and they delivered. As for Dr. House, he spent the week splitting his time between diagnosing a dead patient and a living one. The living one was not only much more savable, her case was also far more intriguing -- never mind the dead one had him risking parole. Madison Davenport , perhaps most recognized by TV fans for a recurring role on HBO's 'Shameless,' does a fantastic job of playing the sullen and grouchy teenager Iris here. But there's more to her condition than typical teen angst and rebelliousness. //www.aoltv.com/2011/11/22/house-tackles-dead-and-disturbed-two-bizarre-cases-video/
