Lewis becomes sure that the student assistant at the crematorium holds vital evidence when he is nearly killed, and matters escalate when the detective ends up rescuing the assistant's girlfriend from a fire whilst on a dinner date with Hobson. Meanwhile, Hathaway investigates the Faulkners' farmhouse in Croatia and discovers it is being used as a meth factory. Suddenly the mystery of the bodies, the funeral parlour and the murder victims takes on a whole new dimension.
