Major Crimes Season 6 Episode 3 Review: Sanctuary City: Part 3

As soon as Sharon started yelling at the FBI agents on Major Crimes Season 6 Episode 3 , I knew she was going to pass out. Her blurry vision, which I figured was some sort of dizzy spell, had been getting worse as the hour progressed and she never did get that flu checked out. Rusty thought she was tired and suggested she stay home but she insisted she had to go to work. So it wasn't a matter of if, but when, she was going to have a serious health issue.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/11/major-crimes-season-6-episode-3-review-sanctuary-city-part-3/

Major Crimes Recap 11/7/17: Season 6 Episode 2 “Sanctuary City: Part 2”

The show opens at the scene where the dead boy, Lucas, was found. The team studies the scene and realizes he has been there for only a few hours. It is likely that he died from complications of his diabetes. The team worries that the other two boys are either dead or had a part in Lucas’ death. Sharon heads to the morgue to see if they are any clues on the body. The ME finds fibers on the body that may be helpful. The rest of the team search the church and question the young priest who worked closely with the boys. The FBI appears at the station while nothing is found inside the church or school. The two FBI agents are upset they weren’t contacted due to the obvious kidnapping. Sharon and her team do not believe it is a kidnapping but the agents point out the million dollars that was found it one of the families homes. They believe it was to be used to pay a ransom and that the family may have drug cartel connections. The captain schools the agents on the way of the LAPD and they decide to step back and listen. Sharon tells them it appears the boys left the field trip of their own volition and got into a car by choice. Lucas died of complications of diabetes and there were no signs of trauma to his body. Sharon tells the agents that they will give the FBI the million dollars to see if there is a ransom request but the team doesn’t think it will happen. READ MORE...

The priest did it.Provenza's been saying so all along. And by the end of Major Crimes Season 6 Episode 2 he'd skipped town while another priest at the parish stood there gloating. Major Crimes Premiere Recap 10/31/17: Season 6 Episode 1 “Sanctuary City Part 1”

The show opens with several students exiting a school bus on a field trip. They are touring a museum. Three boys break away from the group and are last seen in a video from the museum ten hours before the team gets a report they are missing. One of the boys is a type 1 diabetic and needs his medication. Louie doesn’t understand why this is considered a major crime since the boys haven’t been missing very long and are probably just fooling around. The Chief gets angry and asks if they were three white boys instead of Hispanic would he be asking the question. The rest of the team is silent. The team questions the boy’s parents while Mike searches social media. One of the parents remembers that her son received an angry call from a neighbor named Marvin Garrett. It seems he wanted her son to stay away from his daughter. Maybe he had something to do with the boy’s disappearance. Marvin’s daughter is named Kelly and is 16 years old. She has had a crush on each one of the boys at different times. The priest from the school comes to meet with the team. He knows the boys very well and brings one of the boy’s backpacks that was left on the bus. Inside the team finds Lucas’ insulin. READ MORE...

Major Crimes Season 6 Episode 1 Review: Sanctuary City Part 1

I've been heartbroken since I found out that Season 6 is going to be Major Crimes' final season . This is one of my absolute favorite shows, and Major Crimes Season 6 Episode 1 reminded me of just how much I'm going to miss it. Provenza's usual wisecracks and refusal to get with the program were there. So was Sharon's attempt to mother Rusty, an engaging and ultimately tragic mystery, and a whole host of suspects who were only telling the cops half the story.  ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/10/major-crimes-season-6-episode-1-review-sanctuary-city-part-1/

Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 21 Review: Shockwave Part 2

Sharon got a well-deserved promotion after a bomber nearly killed everyone in the unit, while Rusty seemed to let go of Gus. And Flynn jumped into action and proved that he will do pretty much anything to defend Sharon! As season finales go, Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 21 was fairly exciting. I definitely will want to tune in when it returns, though I found some aspects of the conclusion confusing.  ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/04/major-crimes-season-5-episode-21-review-shockwave-part-2/

Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 20 Review: Shockwave Part 1

I knew it was too good to last. Rusty and his idiotic boyfriend, Gus, have been off-screen for a while, and I'd hoped it would stay that way. Sadly, it was not to be. On Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 20 , Gus came back and was more annoying than ever. It's a real shame, as "Shockwave Part 1" was a powerful episode except for that nonsense. ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/04/major-crimes-season-5-episode-20-review-shockwave-part-1/

Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 19 Review: Intersection

Lieutenant Provenzacould easily become a one-note joke of a character. He's always complaining, making wisecracks, and trying to prove that the case really belongs to some other unit. It would be easy to forget that beneath that crusty exterior, there's a sensitive human being who went into police work for the right reasons. Luckily, Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 19 gave Provenza a meaty, dramatic storyline that left no doubt in viewers' minds that Provenza is more than all of his grumbling. ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/03/major-crimes-season-5-episode-19-review-intersection/

Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 18 Review: Bad Blood

Ricky is back! The last time I saw him, he was extremely annoying. He was judgmental of Rusty, who he was sure was trying to pull a fast one, and tried to talk Sharon out of adopting him. On Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 18 , he wasn't much better. Sure, he has accepted Rusty as his brother now, but that just meant roping him into his plans to get Andy's marriage annulled for him despite Sharon's strong desire for Andy to handle this himself. ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/03/major-crimes-season-5-episode-18-review-bad-blood/
