The Red Team competed in an Elimination Challenge over three rounds. For the first, they had 20 minutes to make a dish of their choosing, with unlimited use of whatever ingredients they liked. Kylie, Filippo, Amina and Deb were judged to have produced the most impressive dishes, keeping them safe from Elimination. While the Blue Team were enjoying a Neil Perry MasterClass, the remaining Reds cooked off in round two, only with a 10 minute time limit. Tregan, Emma and Sam produced the top three dishes, leaving Mario and Julia to contest the final five-minute round. After a tightly fought battle, Julia’s dessert was judged superior to Mario’s salad, sending him home.
