Ben battled against celebrity chef Dan Hong in the first Immunity Pin Challenge of the season, with Hong joined by two of his chefs. To even the stakes Ben got to choose two helpers of his own, selecting Emma and Andy. The task was to prepare an entree, main and dessert, with Dan Hong selecting lemon as the core ingredient. Ben gave a superb account of himself, with the judges declaring his main dish superior. But Dan took entree and dessert, winning him the Challenge.
