Konohamaru cleans Naruto's apartment until he learns the older youth has returns home from his long training. Sometime between his comedic reunion with Konohamaru while entrusting his old jacket to him, Naruto decides to teach Konohamaru how to use the Rasengan. Left to his own devices when Naruto leaves to rescue Gaara from the Akatsuki, Konohamaru has trouble with the first phase of his training and decides to instead improve his Sexy Jutsu. As a consequence using magazines Ebisu provided, while assuming the form of a girl spinning a hula-hoop, Konohamaru mastered Naruto's first lesson. When Naruto returns, he gives Konohamaru a rubber ball for the second phase of the training before he and Sakura are teamed with Yamato and Sai on a mission that might help the two find Sasuke. With no idea, Konohamaru gets Ebisu's help along with his teammates and, with comedic reasons because of Ebisu's reaction to the sexy jutsu, got the advice he needed to resume his Rasengan training.
