NCIS Burning Question: Where Was Ziva at the Funeral?

Ziva's absence from Mike Franks’ funeral in the NCIS season eight finale has been noticed - and in some cases heavily criticized - by many loyal fans of the CBS procedural. Executive producer Gary Glasberg says not to read too much into it. Due to Ziva’s training as a Mossad operative, "her life experiences, and how she personally deals with death, not attending Mike Franks’ funeral was in no way a sign of disrespect," Gary tells TV Line regarding her much-debated absence. NCIS Burning Question: Who Did Tony See in the Photo?

May's NCIS season finale, "Pyramid," saw the demise of the Port-to-Port Killer, but left more than a few unanswered questions lingering in the story arc's aftermath. Chief among them: Who did Tony see in the photo? The new SecNav promptly summoned DiNozzo to keep tabs on someone within the organization selling U.S. intelligence. Tony was clearly chosen for a reason, too. Executive producer Gary Glasberg tells TV Guide that, not surprisingly, "It will be someone that we recognize," and that we'll learn who it is in the season premiere. Read More... //

The Port-to-Port Killer was finally stopped in the NCIS season finale, but the story arc didn't die with him. If anything, "Pyramid" posed more questions than it answered. NCIS' Killer Guest Star - Kerr Smith

The steadily improving actor, who's still best known for his groundbreaking role as gay teen Jack McPhee on   Dawson's Creek , has explored his darker side in recent years, most memorably playing Melina Kanakaredes' stalker on   CSI: NY .  But nothing prepared us for his bone-chilling work as Navy Lt. Jonas Cobb, aka the Port-to-Port Killer, on CBS' top-rated crime drama. A trained assassin, Cobb set out to get revenge on the government handlers who'd turned him into a killing machine. After murdering Gibbs' mentor Mike Franks (Muse Watson) and threatening E.J. (Sarah Jane Morris) — who was revealed to be the SecNav's niece! — as well as Ziva (Cote de Pablo) and Jimmy (Brian Dietzen), Cobb was gunned down by NCIS and blown through a window. The look on his face as Cobb's corpse lay sprawled atop a parked car was scarier than any of the horror films in Smith's canon ( Final Destination ,   My Bloody Valentine , etc.). Read More... //
