One Tree Hill Series Finale Review: There Is Only One...

Even after the 45 minutes of interviews and clips highlighting the best moments of all nine seasons, the aptly titled " One Tree Hill " took us all down memory lane once again with callbacks to moments, locations, and characters of the past in last ever episode of this cult classic primetime drama. Everything wrapped up in a tight little bow in the series finale of One Tree Hill , and I'm perfectly fine with that.  It is certainly better than the adverse, where the audience is left in the balance, not having any idea what is going to happen to the characters it fell in love with. That definitely wasn't the case with this ending, as we know exactly what Brooke, Nathan, Haley, Mouth, and the rest of the gang will be up to for the rest of their adult lives.  They will be living out the happy and the sad moments in this town...this place that they still look at ever so fondly. 'One Tree Hill' Series Finale Recap: Goodbye to a Magical Place

The One Tree Hill series finale was less an episode of television and more of one very long feeling transmitted through the airwaves. It was a montage of emotions as the characters remembered their pasts, looked to their futures and said goodbye to all the fans. If a television show could give its viewers a hug, this episode would be it. //www.buddytv.com/articles/one-tree-hill/one-tree-hill-series-finale-re-44858.aspx

One Tree Hill “One Tree Hill” Review

One Tree Hill , the little show that  could, took its final bow this week with the not-so-ironically titled episode, "One Tree Hill ." And like most of the series, there was tenderness, tears and a completely non-linear timeline that ended in a massive flash-forward. The main feature of the night was the music. Tyler Hilton (as Chris Keller) played, Haley sang, and Gavin DeGraw showed up to sing the song that put him on the map . Was it cheesy to see the gang arm-in-arm, singing their own theme song? Maybe just a bit. But I think that the fans of this show who have stuck with it through nine seasons and two networks are more than happy to have a little cheese after so many years of drama. One Tree Hill “Anyone Who Had a Heart” Review

A warning label should be applied to "Anyone Who Had a Heart," the penultimate episode of  One Tree Hill . Caution! Contents may cause diabetes. It seems like all that had to happen to turn Tree Hill  from Drama Central to a 1960?s Love In was the death of Dan Scott. That’s how much they hated him. Once he was safely six feet under, the whole town melted into a gooey pile of sentiment and sweetness. Chase  came to terms with his dismissal from the Air  Force, and came to appreciate his job at the bar, which Haley is conspiring to sell to him. Despite her husband having been kidnapped and kept away from her  for weeks, Haley loved him and Jamie enough to know that her two men needed to take some time away after Dan’s funeral, leaving her to emcee the Burning Boat Festival, the first time we’ve seen the ritual since the first season. It was a nice nod to the past, I must admit. Read More... //www.tvequals.com/2012/03/29/one-tree-hill-anyone-who-had-a-heart-review/

One Tree Hill Review: If You're Happy And You Know It

Well that was certainly a change of pace.  After an episode that went into all out action mode with Dan yielding a shotgun , and one that tugged on our heart strings like they were trying to defeat John Cena in a game of tug o' war as Dan sadly left this world , " Anyone Who Had A Heart " was a much less strenuous hour. The penultimate episode in the history of One Tree Hill was just plain happy.  All of the characters were happy, I assume it made all of the viewers happy, and the fact that Sophia Bush was able to direct one of the final episodes of the series - one that focused a lot on how important her Brooke Davis was to the show - definitely made me happy. 'One Tree Hill' Recap: Saying Goodbye to the Past

It's the penultimate episode of One Tree Hill , and this week is all about burning the past so you can move on to the future. That's the premise of the Burning Boat Festival, which returns after first appearing in the third episode of season 1. But we also get it everywhere else, whether it's Chase deleting his exes from his cell phone, Julian reading Brooke's high school diary or a random and hilarious return by a former guest star I'm guessing most fans don't remember. //www.buddytv.com/articles/one-tree-hill/one-tree-hill-recap-saying-goo-44736.aspx

'One Tree Hill' Recap: Burning Memories and an Engagement

One Tree Hill  is in its final two weeks. Ever. With most of the major external conflicts wrapped up, the last episodes of season nine are focusing on saying goodbye to the characters in just the right way. Star  Sophia Bush  got to direct the penultimate episode, an honor she didn't take lightly. "I knew that it was the last chance that I was going to have to tell these stories and to honor these characters and to really show their relationships,"  she told THR.   Read More... //feedproxy.google.com/~r/thr/television/~3/yDXkdwIt7sA/one-tree-hill-cw-sophia-bush-recap-305472
