While on the way to Castelia City, Ash and friends have stopped to take a break. While resting, Ash's egg begins to glow. After a short wait the egg hatches into a Scraggy! Scraggy proves to be a little troublemaker, and loves to headbutt all the other Pokémon. Scraggy soon puts itself in danger when it attacks a group of wild Galvantula. Meanwhile, Team Rocket and Pierce meet with a Team Rocket scientist named Dr. Zager and present him with the Meteonite they stole from the Nacrene Museum.
