Ash continues his gym battle against Roxie. Despite being able to use more Pokémon than her, Roxie has taken control of the battle and has already defeated two of Ash's Pokémon while she has only lost one. She quickly ups this to three Pokémon defeated. Thanks to a ferocious battle, Pignite is able to defeat Scolipede, leaving Roxie with just one Pokémon left. However, Roxie has her ace Pokémon, a Garbodor, up her sleeves. Ash is close to winning, but he must pull off every trick in the book to defeat Roxie and win his eighth badge.
