As Kogami trains himself to use a traditional revolver and goes to visit Saiga to discuss Makishima's motives, Ginoza is informed that his Psycho-Pass hue is getting cloudy, but turns down therapy. Later, Shion comforts Akane over her confused feelings whilst Ginoza gets into an argument with Masaoka over what they should do. Saiga shows Kogami an anonymous message board outside of the Sybil System's juristiction, which he used to ask how it would be possibly to disrupt the Sybil System within five days. Kogami comes across a curious answer pertaining to 'hyper-oats', the culture that represents for almost all of Japan's food supply, deducing that if the food production system is corrupted, it will force Japan to open up relations with outside countries in order to import foods and cause unrest among the population. Upon deciding that this may be Makishima's next course of action, Kogami bids farewell to Saiga and goes after him. Meanwhile, Akane is approached by a drone that delivers her a Dominator and when she takes it in her hands, its AI proceeds to tell her the truth about everything.
