Review of Quantico

60 minutes

A diverse group of recruits has arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11.

First episode was okay. Second episode is the last I will watch. The story line in the Academy is all they should have stuck to. It seems like EVERY character has something to hide and there are references to things that haven't happened yet EVERY few minutes. Priyanka should stick to bollywood. She is soooo not good! Overly dramatic.

I see what they were trying to do. A weekly guessing game that you can discuss with your coworkers. Who will be the culprit? We've seen these kinds of shows before, but the way of story telling is new here, with two seperate timelines.

Where this show goes wrong is in the execution, the episodes start out with a "suspect" but you can already say with 99% certainty that it wasn't them in each episode.
It feels like one of those shows you can watch the first 3 episodes off, watch the last episode and not miss anything big as each episode seems to contain manipulated clues.

I would've preferred a more traditional story line too, with the Academy being a big chunk of the first season.
But when evaluating the plot, I think that would be very boring. A hit and miss show for me. That I will probably still finish.
