In the Safety Smart Science series, Bill Nye the Science Guy goes behind the scenes at Underwriters Laboratories to discover how they test products that use electricity, suppress and contain fire, and keep us safe. Students from 4th to 8th grade will join Bill as he explains the science behind fire and electricity, teaching that being safety-smart is easy — and potentially life-saving!
