Telly, tired of losing to another boy at tennis, thinks she needs a new metal racquet to beat him, instead of her old wooden one. Budnick gives her a metal racquet, in return for a favor, to be named in the future. But Telly begins to get nervous as Budnick acts as bookie, taking bets on her upcoming match.
