Review of Shameless (US)

Sundays, 9:00 PM ET on Showtime

60 minutes

Based on a long-running British drama, Shameless stars William H. Macy as the alcoholic patriarch of a big blue-collar family in Chicago, the Gallaghers. The mother is AWOL, and with the alcoholic patriarch (Macy) usually passed out on the living-room floor, their smart but unpredictable 18-year-old daughter, Fiona (Rossum), is tasked with keeping her five younger brothers and sisters on the straight and narrow.

Best Series launched in 2011, combines excellent comedy drama . William Macy is brilliant in the role of Frank drunkard , as well as Emmy Rossum , a young actress who I love very much and who will surely have a bright future after this role in Hollywood. The only thing you can reproach of the Showtime is that figure only 12 episodes / season . Frustrations characters with a mix of humor and situations which strangely out by methods not Orthodox just because soon you wake up with a slight addiction ... need to see what happens next . It's one of the recommendations that I'm so glad !
