I'm not even sorry. I watched them all, but there were times that it was just SO slow.

And the eye sex between Keaton and Shepherd was just creepy, considering the backstory.

When did Keaton and Shepard have sex? What episode I don't remember that. I thought it was a good show with lots of potential and one that just kept getting better each week1

@Nikki Raven "eye sexy", not sex. Not agreeing with it though either.

The show was decent, but imo, a weak version of The Blacklist. She's no Raymond Reddington.

While it wasn't an amazing show, it was a good way to pass time each week and I wanted to know how the story progressed

@kriebe...I was also thinking that the show was somewhat like The Blacklist. It was decent enough, I suppose, but no great loss for me.

I am not surprised that they cancelled the show. It was fun for the season and I wondered what do they do next season? Most shows these days are basically good for one season, mainly due to lack of originality in story line if you ask me.

@kriebe The Blacklist? No. I was thinking more along the lines of the movie Salt. I will miss it though. It was not great but it was still good enough to make me tune in from week to week. It made me think and wonder what was coming next. I watch The Blacklist to. I no longer care what happens each week.

@trinigalfly Both The Blacklist and The Enemy Within are super similar in premise. Both are about the FBI working with a nationally hated criminal to use information that they have because of their bad history and connections. Salt is similar in the part that she is (or isn't) wrongfully accused, however Salt is all about the main character Evelyn Salt dodging the CIA and trying to clear her name. That is not what The Enemy Within is about.

@kriebe I felt that how she got convicted was contrived and was never really cleared up in this season. Hence why I compared it to Salt. Red Reddington on The Blacklist is a criminal. We see him committing criminal acts in almost every episode. That is not at all what happened in this show. I would have liked at least a second season to see what they would have done next.

Well, I watched every episode of this show and I never had the feeling this was something really good. I don't mean to say it sucked, but let's be serious, the show did lack that special kind of quality that made you itchy to see what was gonna happen next week. When I saw the first episode my thoughts were: "uhm, ok, but man are the actors kinda wooden or is that just me." There were some logic issues too but I don't feel the need to get into that right now. The show did grow with each episode, but way too slow. There were attampts to give the characters a bit more depth but they kind of failed. So, all in all it was an ok show, it just lacked a lot of logic and the story was too repetetive in the basics. I guess I just want to say I am not surprised.

@trinigalfly I agree with you mostly. But I think the difference between our comparisons is you are comparing the character while I'm comparing the premise. So I guess we could say that Evelyn Salt in The Blacklist is The Enemy Within.
