Josh Groban, James Corden Jam Out to Public Domain Songs

James Corden hosted Josh Groban on The Late Late Show Monday for a jam session featuring some of your favorite public domain songs. Part of the James Corden and Friends Public Domain Song Concert-Palooza, Corden and Groban opened with Bah Bah Black Sheep, which Groban said is his favorite song about wool. The duo also tackled The Muffin Man, but Groban seemed to get more and more agitated witheach new public domain song. He had a brief respite when he tried to sing the opening of Neil Youngs Old Man, but Corden jumped in to stop him. CBS has no music budget, right? Groban said. No, Corden responded. All their money goes to Jim Parsons . But Big Bang Theory references aside, Corden and Groban launched into This Old Man. Groban came alive during the song, saying he finally understands how beautiful public domain songs are. So he offered to Groban-ize the song with Corden, which included bringing out a childrens choir to sing along.
