I finally found myself genuinely sympathising with Frankie. Axl finally happy and head over heels for someone. Sue finally prompted to think outside the box, and even questioning her once concrete choices, and Brick finally putting his foot down on a multitude of things, all for the sake of inclusion, and most importantly, coming from himself instead of relying on familial support. Very good episode.

It's an above average start to the most consistently above average sitcom on television. As the Heck Family and their romantic partners intermingle, Frankie shows her favoritism for "the core group". The jokes were kind of funny, the gags were mildly amusing, and there is no laugh track. Watching this show is the total sitcom experience.
