Each episode of The Popeye Show includes three Popeye cartoons that have been restored to their original theatrical state. Along with that, the show presents facts and trivia about Popeye and his supporting cast, from his orgins in E.C. Segar's 'Thimble Theatre' comic strip, to notable people behind the scenes, such as Jack Mercer and Max and Dave Fleischer, who made Popeye a star.
