Gordon Ramsay Invades Marge's Dream on 'The Simpsons,' or Is She In His? (VIDEO)

Determined to have the kids think of her as a fun parent, too -- they call Homer the "fun dad" -- Marge finds some inroads with the kids when they start exploring unique foods with her. Suddenly, it's a competition to see who's more fun on 'The Simpsons' (Sun., 8:30PM ET on FOX). Marge stressed about it so much, she started getting yelled at in her dream. And who better to yell at a new foodie on FOX than Gordon Ramsay , who told her, "You're not as f****** fun as [Homer] and you never will be!" Then apparently, he commandeered her dream as his own and forced himself to wake up, though I think that leaves him with the stranger dream. Marge dreamed of a world-famous chef. He dreamed of a strange housewife with crazy tall, blue hair. //www.aoltv.com/2011/11/14/gordon-ramsay-invades-marges-dream-on-the-simpsons-video/

Homer Outsmarts Jane Lynch on 'The Simpsons' (VIDEO)

Jane Lynch took off the red track pants last night to guest-star on 'The Simpsons' (Sun., 8PM ET on FOX) as Homer's new assistant, the scheming Roz. It's rare to see Homer outsmart anyone, but after Rox stole his job at the nuclear power pant he managed to find her one weakness and exploit it to his advantage. It turns out that Roz just hates to be hugged, so who better to have her hug -- in public -- than Monty Burns? As Mr. Burns wraps his arms around Roz she starts to groan with disgust. Then, losing it altogether she pushes him away, wraps him into a little ball and kicks him into touch. Result? Roz is fired and Homer gets his job back. Plus, Roz even admits to a little grudging respect for Homer: "I underestimated you." //www.aoltv.com/2011/11/07/homer-outsmarts-jane-lynch-on-the-simpsons-video/

Bart Finds Alien Love in His Avatar on 'Simpsons Treehouse of Horror' (VIDEO)

This year, 'The Simpsons' (Sun., 8PM ET on FOX) annual Halloween spook-tacular was filled with fresher than usual satire. 'Treehouse of Horror XXII' -- and doesn't that make you feel old -- opened with a nod to Aron Ralston and the film '127 Hours,' and proceeded to mock 'Dexter,' 'Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark' and 'Avatar.' The 'Spider-Man' story was perhaps the most bizarre, as it featured a catatonic Homer Simpson ultimately fighting crime even though he couldn't move. But the accidents caused by that were a clear poke at the accident prone musical. //www.aoltv.com/2011/10/31/bart-alien-love-avatar-simpsons-treehouse-of-horror-video/

'The Simpsons': Nancy Cartwright on the origin of 'Eat my shorts'

One of Bart Simpson's most famous catchphrases didn't originate with "The Simpsons" writers, but with the voice of Bart herself.Nancy Cartwright says Bart's "Eat my shorts!" outburst "was an ad-lib" at a table read early in the life of the series. "I don't know -- it just occurred to me," she says in the clip below, which is part of a much longer interview at EmmyTVLegends.org.The site is part of the Archive of American Television, which does long-form interviews with performers, producers, writers and executives spanning the history of TV.Cartwright explains that "Eat my shorts" was something she and her high school marching band cohorts occasionally chanted when they were goofing around. It stuck in her mind, it got a big laugh from the writers, and a catchphrase was born. Cartwright also talks about the give-and-take between cast members and writers and how ad-libs like her now-legendary one can make it into the script. 'The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror' offers ghoulish fun

It wouldn't be a Halloween without "The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror." And while the 22nd iteration of the series doesn't hold a candle to some of the great ones of the past - Homer in 3D, The Raven and The Shining - there were a couple of moments worthy of note.Perhaps the best part is in the second segment that's a send up of "Dexter." And who would be the least likely to be a serial killer who is out to do some good? Why it's Ned Flanders, of course. The opening sequence is outstanding and later in the sketch, there's an unexpected visitor we haven't seen in a while. The opening piece is a rather forgettable number. But the show closes strong for anyone who is a fan of "Avatar."One glaring oversight was the absence of Kang and Kodos. They worked in lookalikes, but we fans demand the real thing.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/10/the-simpsons-treehouse-of-horror-offers-ghoulish-fun.html
