‘Tokyo Ravens’ Dubbed Anime Episodes Go Live

While we’ve got a bit until the April 7th, 2015 debut of Tokyo Ravens first part on DVD/BD combo release, FUNimation has now brought the first four episodes of the series out for their EVS members on their site in its newly dubbed English language form. FUNimation Acquires ‘Tokyo Ravens’ Anime License

FUNimation is setting some more things in motion for 2015 releases as they’ve announced the acquisition of rights for Tokyo Ravens. The company previously simulcast the 2013 broadcast series that ran for 24 episodes and ended this past March. The series is set to have its first part released on March 17th, 2015 with the second set landing in summer 2015, if the dates hold. They’ll be revealing the English cast for the series at Ikkicon on the weekend of January 2nd, 2015 and will premiere the dub for it a week later at Otakon Vegas. READ MORE...

Rondo Robe Unveils New ‘Tokyo Ravens’ Anime Promo

We last got one of these introduction videos to the world of Tokyo Ravens back after the sixth episode, but now distributor Rondo Robe has let loose with a new five minute piece to promote the show and catch fans up. With some amusing narration along the way, it catches us up on the various characters and has some nice bits that helps to remind where we’ve been and how the characters are connected with Kon providing some cute humor and concern along the way. ‘Tokyo Ravens’ Adds Another Anime Introduction Special

While Tokyo Ravens has had six episodes released so far, the production team behind it is continuing to bring out new bits of information for fans to check out and hopefully draw in some new viewers as well. After releasing the first five minute promotional introduction piece towards the end of October, another has debuted as we get Kon explaining more of the series, in Japanese only of course with no subtitles, that does flesh out a bit more of the show. Geneon Universal Adds Five Minute ‘Tokyo Ravens’ Series Concept Anime Video

If it gets picked up for home video release by FUNimation, who is currently simulcasting it, we can expect to see this video show up as one of the extras. Geneon Universal’s Rondo Robe YouTube channel has added a five and a half minute piece for Tokyo Ravens today that has one of the characters doing an explanation of all the aspects of the series with the onmyouji and more. Naturally, it’s not translated, but it gives us some fresh animation as it’s done in cute chibi form to showcase the dangerous side of the series and how events in it are working out. Hulu Adds ‘Tokyo Ravens’ Anime Streaming

FUNimation continues to run a few of their series over at Hulu with the latest of the fall season arriving with Tokyo Ravens. The series is certainly accessible enough for fans that are part of Hulu Plus as it does allow for streaming of the show to TVs and other Internet connected devices rather than just the computer itself.
