Aniplex USA Sets ‘Valvrave The Liberator’ Second Season Blu-ray Anime Release

Aniplex USA announced over the weekend at their New York Comic Con panel their plans for the second season of Valvrave the Liberator. With the first set released and looking strong, the second set is now planned for a January 20th, 2015 release date from the distributor. Aniplex USA Reveals ‘Valvrave The Liberator’ Blu-ray Anime Trailer

With two seasons behind it, Aniplex USA made the announcement at Anime Expo 2014 that they’ll be bringing out the first half of it on September 23rd, 2014 on Blu-ray in North America. The release is in its original Japanese language only with English subtitles and will carry a list priced of $149.98 but will sell at a price of $119.98. Sunrise Talks ‘Valvrave The Liberator’ Anime Release

With Sunrise attending more of the conventions around the country and hosting their own panels to talk about their titles, which are distributed by others, we do often get some interesting tidbits that usually are a bit more reserved for the license holder themselves. That came up against yesterday at the New York Comic-Con where during their panel, they indicted that Aniplex of America will release the Blu-ray Disc for the first season of Valvrave the Liberator in 2014. Aniplex had picked up the rights to the season for home video back at Sakura Con in March of 2013 so we knew it was coming, but a number of releases have been given just a straightforward DVD release that gave some uncertainty as to how this one would be released when it does come out. The promotional campaign for Valvrave the Liberator season two is certainly underway as we’ve had a variety of things going on lately, with promos and key visual art as well as the news that the show is getting streamed on four different services when it begins broadcast in Japan on October 10th. The latest to arrive is a new thirty-second action spot for the property as it gets closer to its debut. The series has its first season coming to DVD in North America in December from Aniplex USA and it’s also been announced that they have the home video rights to the second season as well. While we had a new key visual for the series Valvrave the Liberator season two earlier in the week, and we also had the news that the show is getting streamed on four different services when it begins broadcast in Japan on October 10th, we now had a new brief TV spot for the show. ‘Valvrave The Liberator’ Second Anime Season Key Visual Revealed

October 10th is the start date for the second season of Valvrave the Liberator, which follows up the first season that was simulcast by Crunchyroll for Aniplex USA back in the spring of this year. The official site has updated with a new key visual showing off the cast of the series today which has the Sunrise show coming back for another round of twelve episodes with the same cast and crew as before. Aniplex Sets Japanese ‘Valvrave The Liberator’ Anime Home Video Releases

With the series running through Crunchyroll for simulcast, Aniplex has set the Japanese release plans for at least the first volume of  Valvrave the Liberator . The opening volume, in regular and limited edition form for both DVD and Blu-ray, is set to land on June 26th. The Blu-ray release is set for 7350 yen while the DVD release is 6300 yen for the limited edition and 5250 yen for the regular edition. The limited edition releases will be coming with a CD. On disc extras at the moment appear to include the promotional video collection with commercials, clean opening and closing seqences, an audio commentary and more. Crunchyroll Adds ‘Valvrave The Liberator’ For Spring 2013 Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll has timed its announcement of a new simulcast to that of Aniplex announcing their acquisition of the series  Valvrave the Liberator . The new series from Sunrise is set to debut on April 12th at 2pm ET for premium users while free users will get to see it a week later. The series will be available to viewers in the following territories: US, Canada, United Kingdom, and Ireland. Aniplex USA Announces ‘Valvrave The Liberator’ Anime Acquisition

Aniplex has come right out of the gate at Sakura-con this weekend with the news that they’ve acquired the rights to the new spring series  Valvrave the Liberator .
