Negatus receives a public dressing down from Imperatrix after learning, mid-celebration, that the portal hasn't actually closed. Nope, Debbie is still in Yonderland, currently on her way to a distant tomb to find an important maguffin, possibly the Second Scroll. She's got company, too, in the form of King Bernard, a self-centred, pig-ignorant type hoping to improve his popularity with his people by building a lavish monument to himself.
Every king wants a queen and this one has set his sights on the very married Debbie. Maybe a heartfelt song containing questionable lyrics (sample: "What's a royal seed without a field to germinate?") will do the trick?
More pressing matters are at hand, however, when Debbie and Negatus meet face-to-face for the first time while camping in the forest. Back in Maddox, Elf tries to complete The Chosen One's household chores.
