Sherry reveals that ZONE promised to rewrite her past, so that her parents wouldn't die if she carried out his plans. She uses the Z-ONE spell card to activate the Soul-Binding Gate field spell, which inflicts 800 points of damage whenever they try to summon monsters. As Akiza and Crow defend each other from Sherry's attacks, Sherry tempts Crow with the offer of using ZONE's power to change the past, so that Zero Reverse never happens, so that the children of Satellite wouldn't be orphans, including Crow, Yusei, and Jack, when they were children, if he surrenders and joins ZONE. However, Akiza reminds Crow that he should instead fight for their future, as that was what they as Signers should do, and then they summon their respective dragons, using their combined strengths to defeat Sherry, and then they stop the gear. The room collapses on them, but Akiza manages to regain her psychic power, and manages to get Black Rose Dragon to protect them, and later she heals them with her psychic powers. Sherry then remembers the words her father told her, and apologizes for her actions, teaming up with Akiza and Crow, against ZONE and the rest of Yliaster, joining sides with Team 5D's once again.
