John Anderson joined the Post in 1981 and has been on the foreign staff since 1992. He has been posted in New Delhi, Mexico City, Istanbul, Jerusalem, and currently assigned to Paris. Before joining foreign, Anderson was the researcher for Bob Woodward on his best-selling book, "Wired: The Short Life and Fast Times of John Belushi." He was a reporter on the Post Metro staff for nine years, covering D.C. public safety, Fairfax County and the Virginia Legislature. In recent years, his assignments have included significant stints covering the wars in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. Anderson, a 1981 graduate of Harvard College, has one son, Benjamin, and he is married to Molly Moore, who is also a Post correspondent in Paris.
