'American Idol': Adam Lambert takes New York

The Glam Nation rolled into New York City this week, and Adam Lambert as usual, had his fans at "hello."

Lambert played the first of two dates at the Nokia Theater in Manhattan on Tuesday (June 22), and thanks to a YouTube user with a pretty good vantage point, we can share some of his performance with you.

The "American Idol" Season 8 runner-up performed a set that included "Fever," "Sleepwalker," an acoustic version of "Whataya Want From Me" and, in his encore, "Mad World." Based on what we've seen, though, nothing tops his opening, a three-song run of "Voodoo," "Down the Rabbit Hole" and "Ring of Fire." Take a look -- and check out the top-hat-and-shaved-head style he debuted last week.
