"American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi co-hosted "The View" on Tuesday, June 1 -- and managed not to out anybody, so that's nice. No, in all seriousness, she fit right in at the ladies' round table.
Kara jokes around about how her first year, Paula would get wild applause and Kara would get hardly anything. "I used to clap for myself in the beginning," Kara laughs.
Elisabeth and Kara then engaged in a neck-itude-off, as they let their Italian sides out, which is kind of funny since Kara does that all the time on "American Idol."
Sherri Shepherd then wants to know if "Idol" has jumped the shark and Kara does her darndest to argue that it hasn't. She also says that people drop CDs off at her house with notes about how they hope they aren't overstepping their bounds. Goodness! That's a little alarming.
The full Kara as co-host episode will be up on "The View's" official website later today.
