Sugar, spice and everything nice. That's what I thought of Ali when I first saw her on The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love. And as I got to know her in the second episode, it became clear why Jake kept her in the first place. Chemistry, sunshine personality and looks aside, she also has a dark side which alarmed me a little bit going into the third episode of the season.
I don't know about you but I was surprised to see Ali come out with her claws as she spearheaded the pact-hating Vienna whom she accused of talking badly about everybody. She also led the toast to Corrie for her bold impression of Vienna at the comedy club and yelled at Vienna for stealing alone time with Jake when she already has a rose.
Don't get me wrong because I like Ali. I really do. But somehow my impression of the sweet and refreshing girl next door got tainted even more when she made Vienna cry when all Vienna wanted to was to apologize to the girls. It also didn't help that Ali used her alone time with Jake to talk trash about Vienna some more. I guess it would have taken a lot to push Ali's buttons but sadly, there was no footage to prove her allegations against Vienna. But then again, ABC is a master when it comes to editing so we'll never really know.
Between Ali and Vienna, I'll still definitely pick Ali hands down. But did she really have to stir so much drama and be so confrontational?
