iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove Inks Deal for More Episodes

She acts, sings, is the new face of Neutrogena, and now 16-year-old Miranda Cosgrove has signed a contract with Nickelodeon in the low- to mid-seven-figure range, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Under the new deal, Cosgrove will star in the network's iCarly for an additional 26 episodes, bringing the total order for the series to 96. The new shows are slated to begin production this spring.

The series stars Cosgrove as Carly, who produces her own web series, iCarly, with best friends Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress). It features a companion website, icarly.com, where viewers at home can interact. In a recent interview with us, Cosgrove said, "Ever since we started, the whole idea was that kids were going to be able to go on the website and they would be able to email things they wanted to see on the show and really tell the writers and producers what they wanted to see. That has become a huge part of the show."

In January, "iSaved Your Life" became the show's highest rated episode of all time with 11.2 million viewers and iCarly is currently the top series on television for kids ages 2 to 11.
